“Our students love it! Every residency day, they are beside themselves. These are middle school kids, so it’s hard to get them excited about much.”

Stay cool. Stay dry. Sloppy Copy 12-5. AWFUL Wrestling starts at 3pm. All indoors at Fleisher.

Don't forget: Sloppy Copy is tomorrow, rain or shine! Stop by, hang out, grab a drink or a pop from Lil’ Pop Shop, catch the show by AWFUL Wrestling, and participate in some interactive art activities with our awesome vendors! Can't wait to see you there!

Dear Fleisher, is just a few weeks away! Here are five things you should know about Philadelphia’s favorite postcard-sized art exhibitions and sale: 1. More than 200 artists have donated over 500 pieces of original artwork. 2. The First Look Party is best chance to see the show in its entirety and meet many of the artists. 3. As a party guest, you’ll have access to a special collection of artwork and other surprises. 4. On Sept. 16, the full show will be on sale. It’s first come, first served. 5. Through Dear Fleisher, we need to raise $50,000 to support access to the arts for everyone!

Sloppy Copy is just a feed days away! Come to Fleisher’s parking lot (🌧 or 🌞) and make your own collaged mix CD cases, pick up some new threads, and check out some sculptures, zines, and prints with Alyssa Rorke, @neilprobably, @fishtowncuties, and Caitlin Stoddard. Drop by any time between noon and 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

@hee_sook_kim is a past Wind Challenge artist and has contributed numerous pieces to past Dear Fleisher, exhibitions. We visited her studio on @haverfordedu’s campus, where she is a professor of fine arts, to learn more about the cultural influences in her work and the elements of Fleisher's mission that resonate with her most. Don’t miss your chance to take home one of Hee Sook’s pieces at Dear Fleisher, September 6-16.

This week: 🔥 🔥 🔥. Come cool off at Sloppy Copy on Saturday, where @lilpopshop’s locally made treats will pair perfectly with our interactive art fair. Join us in the parking lot from 12:00-5:00 p.m.
