Fly, easels fly! Hey, @philadelphiaeagles, the oldest community art school in America has your back this weekend. Hoping you leave the Saints season looking like our bony buddy in the background. Go birds!

Fall in love with printmaking! It’s a weekend of love at Fleisher for people of all ages as Print Love-In returns for its 19th year. Join us to make your own valentines while exploring a wide range of printmaking techniques. Friday, Feb. 8 is for 21+. $25 includes all materials and love tunes with local band Greg Electric and DJ Ino Bumps. On Sunday, Feb. 10 we have 3 sessions for all ages! $10 per person. Beginning this Saturday, January 12, our friends across the street at @davinciartalliance will be hosting an exhibition of work created by Rick Wright and his students in Rick’s long-running Art of the Darkroom Print class. Here are some smiling faces to help you end your week on a positive note! The winter session of Creative Labs, our innovative after-school program, just began, but it’s never too late to join us! To all of Fleisher's students, faculty members, partners, and friends, Thank you for making 2018 an incredible year at Fleisher. Just by being a part of our creative community you have enriched our programs and supported our mission to provide everyone access to art. On behalf of our staff and board of directors, we hope your holiday season is a joyous one and the new year brings you a wealth of artistic and inspiring experiences. Fleisher will be closed to the public Saturday, December 22, until Wednesday, January 2. Registration for winter classes and workshops, which begin on Saturday, January 5, will remain available at fleisher.org.

This afternoon, the young artists in our puppetry Creative Lab celebrated the end of the fall term by showing off their creations in a series of puppet shows. Registration is currently open for the winter session of our innovative after-school program, which uses a variety of mediums to encourage students in kindergarten through fifth grade who they are and how they define the world around them.
