Fleisher Art Memorial is seeking proposals for workshops in our Teen Lounge, a free, drop-in after-school arts program for youth ages 13–19. Workshops take place once a week for four weeks, and selected artists will receive a $595 stipend.
We welcome creative and experimental proposals that engage teens through themes or media relevant to their interests. Artists will have access to Fleisher’s facilities, including printmaking, darkroom, and ceramics studios.
Proposals are due by November 3 at 11:59 PM. After submission, 15 artists will be invited to attend a Proposal Fair on November 18, where they will meet teens and pitch their workshop ideas (participants will receive a $25 gift card). Teens will then vote on the workshops to be offered.
Please note that group size may vary each session due to the program’s drop-in format. Teen Lounge is wheelchair accessible.
